Your Journey Starts Here
Every person begins their judo journey in a different place. Some join to learn a new skill, improve their fitness and meet new people. Others discover a passion for competition and set their sights on achieving success on the mat.
At Senshin, we provide a pathway that supports every stage of that journey. Through expert coaching and a positive training environment, members develop practical judo skills, improve their fitness and athletic ability, and gain the confidence to embrace new challenges.
As they progress, opportunities become available to work towards new grades, attend club events, participate in competitions, join development and performance programmes, and train at regional, national and international events. Whether you train for fitness, personal growth, recreation or competitive success, we are committed to helping you reach your potential and achieve your goals.
Recreational Judo
Our Recreational Judo programme provides teens and adults with the opportunity to learn new skills, improve their fitness and enjoy training in a friendly and supportive environment.
Designed for beginners, returning judoka and those training for enjoyment, members benefit from expert coaching, progressive technical instruction and regular opportunities to develop their skills at a pace that suits their goals and experience.
Whether you are looking to get fit, challenge yourself, meet new people or simply enjoy being part of a positive club community, Recreational Judo offers a rewarding and enjoyable way to stay active while continuing to learn and grow through the sport.
This programme is ideal for those who want to experience the many benefits of judo without the commitment of a competition pathway, while still having opportunities to progress, achieve new grades and challenge themselves both on and off the mat.

Pathways Beyond Recreational Judo
As students develop their skills, confidence and experience, a range of additional opportunities become available. Whether their goal is to train more often, compete at a higher level, develop leadership skills or simply continue enjoying judo, there is a pathway to suit every individual.
